Frequently asked questions

I paid for Premium but my features are locked

Open the Milli Premium screen and tap Restore Purchases. Milli Premium is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple Account, so it restores on any device signed in with the same account, at no extra cost.

If restoring does not work, make sure you are signed into the App Store with the same Apple Account you used to buy, then email us.

What does Milli Premium include?

A single one-time payment — no subscription — that unlocks:

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple, so we cannot issue refunds ourselves. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Is my financial data private?

Yes. Milli has no server, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party SDKs. Your data stays on your device, and — only if you turn on iCloud sync — in your own private iCloud account, which we cannot access. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.

My data is not syncing between devices

Check that:

  1. Both devices are signed into the same Apple Account
  2. Settings → [your name] → iCloud → iCloud Drive is on
  3. iCloud sync is enabled in Milli’s own settings
  4. Both devices have a working internet connection

Sync happens in the background and can take a few minutes. Opening the app on the second device usually prompts an immediate check.

How do I back up or move my data?

Milli can export a backup file from its settings. Keep it somewhere safe — once exported, that file is under your control, so treat it like a bank statement.

Can I use Milli on iPad?

Milli is currently designed for iPhone only. It will run on an iPad in compatibility mode, but the layout is not optimised for the larger screen.

How do I turn off the Face ID / passcode lock?

Open the app’s settings and disable the app lock in the security section. You will be asked to authenticate once before the change takes effect.

Exchange rates look wrong

Milli does not fetch live rates — it makes no network requests at all, by design. Exchange rates are the ones you enter yourself, so you can update them in settings whenever you want.

I found a bug / I have a feature request

Please email milli.app.support@gmail.com. Bug reports with the details listed under Contact above are the most useful, and feature requests are genuinely read.
